The Microsoft Business Applications Practice at HCLTech is thrilled to be at HIMSS23 in April. That’s right, we’re back in person and excited to be one of the select partners to share a booth with Microsoft.
Have you been looking for ways to turn off the welcome tour pop up screen in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013? You may have noticed that even if you check that box, the message still pops up when you log into CRM.
Nothing against the welcome lady but PowerObjects has a way you can permanently stop her from popping up every time you log into CRM.
Here are the steps to disable the CRM 2013 welcome screen pop-up:
1. Locate the MSCRM registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftMSCRM
2. Add a DWORD 32 bit value with a value of 1: DisableNavTour
Simple as that! Wasn't that easy? Hope this comes in handy. Check out our other CRM 2013 blogs for additional tips and assistance.
Happy CRM'ing!
Any method that works for CRM Online? 🙂
To my knowledge there isn't a way to completely disable the welcome screen for online users.
