Why can't I see my view in the list of views?

PowerMerge only pulls system views into the dropdown. If there is a specific view that needs to be available in the dropdown, your CRM Admin will have to make it a system view.

Why can't I select all the check boxes for the "Merge Based On" when setting up my duplicate check?

In order to select the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address check boxes they must be a column in the view that you have selected for your Entity View.
