In today’s blogpost, we are excited to share some recognition we recently received from Forrester, the global Market Research and Advisory firm. In their May 21 report, The Forrester Wave™: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Services, Q2 2019, they identify our parent company, India-based HCL Technologies, as a Leader in delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 services. Within the summary, PowerObjects is identified as a critical contributor to HCL’s overall rating.
The report, which is subtitled The 12 Providers That Matter Most And How They Stack Up, groups 12 industry giants into three categories: Leaders, Strong Performers, and Contenders. Only three firms, including HCL Technologies, make the cut as Leaders. Their assessment was based on 23 criteria, including characteristics like customer results and business outcomes, market approach, large projects, and revenue. HCL consistently rates as strong across all categories.
Within the report, PowerObjects is recognized as having unique status as a dedicated Dynamics 365 shop with the resources and processes of a large system integrator (SI). According to the report, “HCL has leveraged this status to drive the highest number of large deals among its SI peers, as well as several instances of large multiyear transformation engagements based on Microsoft Dynamics 365.” Forrester also recognizes PowerObjects’ suite of PowerPack add-ons as a strong source of innovation within HCL.
In discussing the changing landscape of Dynamics 365, Forrester explains that deployments are no longer limited to simple installations of CRM or ERP. Instead, implementations are transformation and extend across the entire Microsoft stack. Interestingly, their research indicates that most providers in the Dynamics 365 services space are still trying to catch up to Microsoft’s evolving ecosystem. “Many of these providers are underprepared to deploy a future-ready business platform founded on Microsoft Dynamics 365.” Those firms that have successfully kept pace with Microsoft – including HCL and PowerObjects – find themselves ahead of the competition and well positioned within Forrester’s Leaders category.
